September seemed to go by so fast. We are getting the hang of 4 kids, most days haha. We are working on getting a good sleep schedule going for Miss Dempsey. She only likes to sleep on my chest or if I'm holding her, which I don't mind :) She loves being snuggled up in a blanket and cuddled.
We have gone on lots of rides in the mountains as a family. Dempsey just sleeps the whole time, unless she is hungry of course.
Her brothers and sister can't get enough of her, they fight over who gets to hold her and love on her. Paislee is my big helper and gets to hold her for me while I get the boys ready for bed, or change a bum or do baths. She loves to sing to Dempsey.
Rickey asks to hold her but I have to make sure I keep a hold of her because it only lasts a few seconds. He gives her the sweetest kisses and sings to her if she is ever sad.
Drew puts his arms up to hold her and then sits down and is content to let her sit on his lap. He just looks at her and then kisses her and says all done.
She has her daddy wrapped around her little finger though. She and Paislee are definitely daddy girls. Which is so good, because he is pretty darn amazing and the boys are mama boys so it works out.
We just bought 35 acres of land out of town and are getting excited to build our dream home out there. It has a river with beautiful views and lots of room to run and play. I know our kids are going to be in heaven out there.
Dempsey goes back for her 2 month appointment on Halloween so I'll update you with how she is doing. I know she is gaining weight like a champ she has the cutest rolls!!!
We are going to be Despicable Me for Halloween, Andrew is going to be Gru, I'll be Lucy, Paislee and Dempsey are going to be purple minions and the boys will be yellow minions. They are pretty excited and so am I. I am taking advantage of my kids being ok with us all dressing up together while I can because I know it won't last long haha.
We celebrated my birthday and Rickey's birthday this month so Dempsey got loved on lots by family. My brother is living with us right now until he can find a place closer to his work and he gets to love on her all the time. She is definitely loved and cherished by all!
